Leonard Cohen announces North American tour

Leonard Cohen will be touring North America later this year in support of his new album “Old Ideas”. The tour begins on October 31 in Austin, Texas and finishes on December 20 in Brooklyn, New York.

Roger Waters’ The Wall breaks South American attendance records

Roger Waters’ tour of The Wall has smashed attendance records in South America, playing to over 750,000 fans during 15 open-air stadium shows in Chile, Brazil and Argentina. The nine sold-out shows at the River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires beat the previous five nights record held by the Rolling Stones.

The Zombies to receive home town honour

A Blue Plaque marking the spot where The Zombies first met in 1961 will be unveiled at 2pm on Friday, April 27 at the Blacksmith’s Arms Pub in St Albans, Hertfordshire. Members of the band will be in attendance, including Rod Argent and Colin Blunstone.

Springsteen releases “Death To My Hometown” video

Bruce Springsteen has released a music video for “Death To My Hometown,” as well as details for the second North American leg of his “Wrecking Ball” tour.

“Death To My Hometown” is the second video from the album “Wrecking Ball,” after “We Take Care Of Our Own” which was released in February. Rage Against the Machine guitarist, Tom Morello, features in the video, which includes footage from the South By Southwest Festival, New York’s Apollo Theater, and Atlanta’s Philips Arena.
