Springsteen rocks the Isle of Wight Festival
Written by admin on June 25, 2012 – 5:43 pm -Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band closed the Isle of Wight Fashion in memorable fashion last night with an energetic three-hour set.
The band played a fine balance of new and old material, with classic hits such as “Born To Run” and “The River,” and material from his new album “Wrecking Ball,” including the title track, “Death To My Hometown” and “Shackled And Drawn”.

Steve Winwood duets with Tom Petty
Written by admin on June 23, 2012 – 8:28 am -Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers welcomed Steve Winwood on stage during a hit-packed set at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Wednesday night.
Petty is in the middle of a European tour, which sees him playing his first UK shows for 13 years. The UK stop also included a well-received headline performance at the Isle of Wight Festival last night.

Keith Richards hoping for Rolling Stones live return in 2012
Written by admin on June 20, 2012 – 8:29 pm -Keith Richards has said that the Rolling Stones will get together next month to decide their 50th anniversary plans and that ideally they will play at least one show by the end of the year.
Keith told Rolling Stone:
| “I’d like to get a couple of shows down and see how it goes. It’s all very hush-hush. I’m going over to London for a bit, so I’ll find out more then.” |

Elton John to headline Peace One Day concert

The Peace One Day concert is part of the Global Truce 2012 campaign, which was founded by filmmaker Jeremy Gilley. Jude Law is one of the campaigns high-profile ambassadors.
