Bonnie Tyler will represent Britain at Eurovision

Tyler says:
“It is an honour to represent my country and is also a wonderful way to ensure that my song ‘Believe In Me’ reaches the widest possible audience.

Solo tour for Michael Nesmith
Written by admin on February 26, 2013 – 3:55 pm -Michael Nesmith begins his Solo Spring 2013 Tour on March 21 in Franklin, Tennessee.
The show will focus on Nesmith’s post-Monkees solo work, with “Papa Gene’s Blues” the only Monkees song scheduled to be performed. Nesmith says:
“I hope Monkees fans are not disappointed but my solo recorded music is extensive and the songs that were part of the Monkees era comprise only a tiny part of it.”

Cirque du Soleil announce new Michael Jackson show
Written by admin on February 21, 2013 – 7:59 pm -Cirque du Soleil and the Estate of Michael Jackson have announced that “Michael Jackson ONE” will open and take residency at Mandalay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas this summer. The show will begin previews on May 23 and open officially on June 29.

Paul McCartney to headline Bonnaroo festival
Written by admin on February 19, 2013 – 8:18 pm -Paul McCartney and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers are among the acts that will play this year’s Bonnaroo festival.
The line-up was revealed during a Bonnaroo Line-up Announcement Megathon (BLAM!) streamed live on YouTube this afternoon.
Other artists scheduled to appear at Bonnaroo include Mumford & Sons, ZZ Top, Billy Idol, Bjork, Vampire Weekend, Gaslight Anthem, Grizzly Bear, Cat Power, Wu- Tang Clan, Nas, Divine Fits, Kendrick Lamar, Animal Collective, JD McPherson, and many more.
