Watch Rod Stewart preview new songs at the Troubadour
Written by admin on April 29, 2013 – 1:08 pm -Rod Stewart has showcased his new album “Time” during a 10-song special gig at LA’s Troubadour.
“Time” is Stewart’s first album of original rock material for many years and also marks his return to songwriting, with 11 of the 12 tracks written by the singer. The Troubadour gig includes six of those new tracks and a handful of classics.

The Rolling Stones play warm-up gig in LA
Written by admin on April 28, 2013 – 10:48 am -The Rolling Stones played an unexpected show last night at the Echoplex in Los Angeles, ahead of their US tour which starts on May 3.
Tickets for the gig at the 700-capacity club were announced with just one hour’s notice and priced at $20. Many fans who hadn’t been lucky enough to get a ticket showed up at the venue anyway in the hope of catching a glimpse of the band.

Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young announce 1974 live album
Written by admin on April 15, 2013 – 9:55 pm -Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young are releasing a live album from their 1974 reunion tour. The as yet untitled album is expected to be released on August 27.
Graham Nash told Rolling Stone:
“It’s going to f—in’ stun people. We only multi-tracked eight or nine shows from the tour, and we’ve chosen the best from those gigs. We’ve had to do a little tuning, but not that much…But the spirit of the band! If I take myself out the band and look at it, it was a f—in’ great band.”

Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival 2013 – Line-up
Written by admin on April 5, 2013 – 8:51 am -Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival will take over New York’s Madison Square Garden on April 12 and 13.
Rolling Stone reports that Clapton will open the festival with an acoustic set, ahead of his headlining performance the following night. He will also take to the stage to jam with special guest on the opening night, including the Allman Brothers Band.
