Dionne Warwick has filed for bankruptcy, with debts totalling $10 million, according to her publicist Kevin Sasaki.

Sasaki told CNN:

“Due to several consecutive years (the late ’80s through the mid-’90s) of negligent and gross financial mismanagement, Dionne Warwick has realized the current necessity to file personal bankruptcy. In light of the magnitude of her tax liabilities, Warwick has repeatedly attempted to offer repayment plans and proposals to the IRS and the California Franchise Tax Board for taxes owed. These plans were not accepted, resulting in escalating interest and penalties. Although the actual amount of back taxes owed have been paid, the resulting penalties and interest has continually accrued.”

The United States Postal Service (USPS) has announced that Johnny Cash will appear on a stamp later this year as part of its new Music Icons series.

The stamp has a simple but striking design by Greg Breeding, making good use of a portrait of Cash taken by Frank Bez in 1963 during a photo shoot for “Ring of Fire: The Best of Johnny Cash.”

Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood married 34-year-old theater producer Sally Humphreys on Friday in the eighth-floor penthouse suite of London’s Dorchester hotel.

The pair met nine years ago when Humphreys was working at a theater which staged a Ronnie Wood art exhibition. They have been dating for six months.
