Neil Young receives person of the year award
Written by admin on January 31, 2010 – 8:06 am -Neil Young became the 20th recipient of the MusiCares Person of the Year award on Friday night.
The Grammy Week event was held at Los Angeles Convention Center on 29 January, with more than 2,000 people in attendance. The host Jack Black was reportedly in hilarious form as he introduced a lineup of nearly 30 artists performing 20 Neil Young songs. |

Simon and Garfunkel to play Jazz Fest
Written by admin on January 14, 2010 – 8:50 am -Simon and Garfunkel are to play the Jazz and Heritage Festival in New Orleans on April 24, in what will be their only live appearance in the U.S. in 2010.
Paul Simon has a long association with Jazz Fest as both a visitor and performer, but this is the first time that Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel have come together to play the festival. Commenting on the news, Quint Davis, producer/director of Jazz Fest, said:

Cash and Dylan duet
