“Paul Simon – Under African Skies” included on “Graceland” reissues
Written by admin on January 17, 2012 – 5:38 pm -| A documentary about the making and lasting influence of Paul Simon’s “Graceland” album will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 22. “Paul Simon – Under African Skies” was directed by two-time Emmy and Peabody Award winning director Joe Berlinger. The film will get a limited theatrical release and is also scheduled to be aired on A&E. |

Eric Bana to star in “Elvis & Nixon”
Written by admin on October 24, 2011 – 3:15 pm -Eric Bana and Danny Huston will play Elvis Presley and Richard Nixon, respectively, in a movie based on the meeting between the pair which occurred on December 21, 1970.
Variety reports that Cary Elwes, whose acting credits include the “Saw” franchise, is writing the screenplay for “Elvis & Nixon” and will make his directorial debut on the film. Michael Benaroya (“The Romantics” and “Margin Call”) will produce with Holly Wiersma (“Bobby” and “The Son of No One”).
