Mick Jagger and his production company Jagged Films are in talks with 20th Century Fox to produce an Elvis Presley biopic, according to sources who spoke with FOX411’s Pop Tarts column.

There’s no confirmation from anyone involved about whether the project will go ahead, but, if so, it’s probable that the movie would concentrate on Elvis’ early years as 20th Century Fox has been developing a script based on Peter Guralnick’s 1995 biography 1995 for around a decade.

The previously unreleased Grateful Dead concert film “Sunshine Daydream” will be screened in select US theaters on August 1 as part of the third annual Grateful Dead Meet Up At The Movies series.

The Sunshine Daydream concert was performed at the site of the Oregon Country Fair in Veneta, Oregon on August 27, 1972. The film will include performances from the concert, and recent interviews with Ken Babbs, Sam Cutler, Wavy Gravy and Carolyn “Mountain Girl” Garcia.

BBC Four devoted a night to Otis Redding on Friday with the screening of the documentary “Otis Redding – Soul Ambassador” and concert film “Otis Redding & Friends: Stax Volt Revue ’67”.

The “Soul Ambassador” documentary follows Otis from his childhood in Georgia to his untimely death in 1968. Viewers are treated to home movies, rare and unseen performances, and interviews with Otis’ friends, family, bandmates and celebrity fans, including Rod Stewart, Elton John, Tom Jones and Bryan Ferry.
