Graham Nash to write memoir
Written by admin on July 1, 2012 – 9:41 pm -Graham Nash will chronicle his 50-year music career in a memoir due to be published next year.
The book will cover Nash’s journey from growing up in Salford, England, through to his time with the Hollies and his relocation to Los Angeles where he was a founding member of Crosby, Stills and Nash.

It’s “Quadrophenia Night” on BBC Four

BBC Four’s night of programmes themed around the album commences at 9pm with the documentary “Quadrophenia: Can You See the Real Me?” directed by Matt O’Casey. The documentary includes archive footage, unheard recordings, and in-depth interviews with those involved in the production of the album. Contributors include Pete Townshend, Roger Daltrey, Ethan Russell, Ron Nevison, Richard Barnes, Irish Jack Lyons, Bill Curbishley, John Woolf, Howie Edelson, Mark Kermode and Georgiana Steele-Waller. |

Song of the Week #112 – “The House of the Rising Sun”

“The House of the Rising Sun” was released on single in the UK in June 1964, backed with “Talkin’ ’bout You,” and debuted two months later in the US. It was also on the band’s self-titled American debut album, but not on the UK version. |

Keith Richards hoping for Rolling Stones live return in 2012
Written by admin on June 20, 2012 – 8:29 pm -Keith Richards has said that the Rolling Stones will get together next month to decide their 50th anniversary plans and that ideally they will play at least one show by the end of the year.
Keith told Rolling Stone:
“I’d like to get a couple of shows down and see how it goes. It’s all very hush-hush. I’m going over to London for a bit, so I’ll find out more then.” |
