Janis Joplin has become the 2,510th recipient of a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The ceremony took place yesterday (Nov 4) morning, with hundreds of fans in attendance.

Legendary singer and songwriter Lou Reed died of a liver-related ailment in New York on Sunday morning (Oct 27). The former Velvet Underground frontman had a liver transplant earlier this year.

John Fogerty fans who want a keepsake from his current tour will be able to download the shows the day after they are performed.

Starting tomorrow, the shows performed in Paso Robles (October 11), Berkeley (October 12), and Denver (October 15) will be available for download at livedownloads.com.
