Black Sabbath’s “13” tops UK album chart
Written by admin on June 16, 2013 – 7:12 pm -Black Sabbath’s “13” has become the band’s first album to top the British album chart since 1970’s “Paranoid”. The 43-year interval between chart-toppers beats the record of 37-years set last month when Rod Stewart’s “Time” hit number one.
“13” is Black Sabbath’s first album with frontman Ozzy Osbourne since 1978’s “Never Say Die!”. It also features original members, Tony Iommi (guitar) and Geezer Butler (bass), and Brad Wilk (drums) of Rage Against the Machine.
Black Sabbath will promote the album with a tour this summer, beginning in the US and then moving on to South America and Europe. The following US tour dates are confirmed:
