Barbra Streisand and Billy Joel talk about “New York State of Mind” duet
Written by admin on September 6, 2014 – 7:27 pm -Watch Barbra Streisand and Billy Joel discussing their collaboration on Joel’s great song “New York State of Mind,” which will appear on Streisand’s duets album “Partners”.
Joel’s original recording of “New York State of Mind” appeared on his 1976 album “Turnstiles”. Streisand is also revisiting the song, as she covered it for her 1977 album “Superman”.
Other collaborators on “Partners” include Lionel Richie, Michael Bublé, Stevie Wonder and Elvis Presley.

The deluxe edition of “Partners” also includes the following five bonus tracks:

- “I Won’t Be the One to Let Go” (with Barry Manilow)

“Partners” will be released on September 16 in North America and September 15 in the UK. The standard edition is not available at present in the UK and the deluxe edition is not available in the US.
