A 1970 Mercedes-Benz 600 Saloon Limousine that was once owned by Elvis Presley is up for auction on Sunday, December 6. This is one of hundreds of lots in Bonham’s Important Motor Cars and Fine Automobilia sale, which is being held at Mercedes-Benz World in Weybridge, Surrey, England.

Elvis Presley Mercedes car auction

The car was one of two Benz 600s purchased by Elvis within a few months of each other. One was kept in California and the other in Memphis. The bill of sale for this car shows that it was delivered to Mercedes-Benz dealer Robertson Motors in Memphis, Tennessee. The automobile registration card records it as registered to Elvis Aaron Presley, 1174 Hillcrest Road (later 144 Monovale Drive), Beverley Hills, California on the registration plate ‘650 CNT.’

The estimated value of the car is between £150,000 – 200,000 ($230,000 and $310,000).

Further information on the sale is available at Bonham’s website.
