Phil Lynott launched a solo career with the album “Solo In Soho” in 1980, which was a top 30 hit on the UK album chart and yielded the hit singles “Dear Miss Lonelyhearts” and “King’s Call”. |
“Yellow Pearl” includes the key tracks from Lynott’s solo albums “Solo In Soho” and “The Phillip Lynott Album,” as well as some worthwhile rarities, such as:
- an extended version of his single “Nineteen”
- the second remix of “Yellow Pearl”
- “Somebody Else’s Dream” and “Beat Of The Drum,” which were the
- B-sides to the singles “Together” and “Old Man,” respectively.
There is also an eight-page booklet, which includes an informative essay by Malcolm Dome.
