“The Beatles in Mono” vinyl box set out now
Written by admin on September 11, 2014 – 2:52 pm -The Beatles’ original LPs have been remastered from the analogue master tapes for a limited edition 14-LP vinyl box set titled “The Beatles In Mono”.
“The Beatles In Mono” CD box set released in 2009 was created from digital masters, but the new vinyl set was cut without using any digital technology. Working at Abbey Road, GRAMMY®-winning engineer Sean Magee and GRAMMY®-winning mastering supervisor Steve Berkowitz followed the same procedures used in the 1960s, guided by the original transfer notes made by the engineers at the time.
