Preview André 3000 as Jimi Hendrix in “All Is By My Side”
Written by admin on May 12, 2014 – 6:49 am -The Jimi Hendrix biopic “All Is By My Side” receives its US premiere tonight (May 12) at the South by Southwest festival at Austin’s Paramount Theatre.
The title role is played by Outkast’s André 3000 (André Benjamin).
This clip, courtesy of Rolling Stone, features André 3000 with Imogen Poots and Andrew Buckley, who play Hendrix’s friend Linda Keith and future manager Chas Chandler, respectively.
The movie is written and directed by John Ridley, who recently won the best adapted screenplay Oscar for “12 Years a Slave.”
