Conan O’Brien interviews music historian Peter Guralnick
Written by admin on May 25, 2013 – 4:45 pm -Music historian, Peter Guralnick, has joined Conan O’Brien on the Serious Jibber-Jabber show for an in-depth discussion about Elvis Presley, Sun Records and Sam Cooke.
Guralnick is best known for his acclaimed biographies of Elvis, “Last Train to Memphis” and “Careless Love,” and his excellent biography of Sam Cooke, “Dream Boogie: The Triumph of Sam Cooke”. He is currently working on a biography of Sam Phillips, the man behind the revolutionary Sun Records music label.
