The Rolling Stones confirm four 2012 gigs
Written by admin on October 15, 2012 – 10:36 pm -The Rolling Stones have confirmed that they will perform gigs in the UK and US before the end of the year.
There will be two dates at London’s O2 Arena on November 25 and 29, and two at Newark’s Prudential Center on December 13 and 15 (not in Brooklyn as had been rumoured).
The band are promising:
| “…all new, custom-built set design with a stage based on the band’s ubiquitous and celebrated tongue and lips logo, which will reach out into the crowd and become a truly must-see and -hear experience, with integral video screens and effects enhancing the sort of high-octane adventure for which the band’s concerts have been famous for decades.” |
The shows form part of the Rolling Stones’ 50th anniversary celebrations and will be the first gigs the band have undertaken since the end of the Bigger Bang tour in August 2007.
