McCartney reveals “Kisses On The Bottom” tracklist
Written by admin on January 10, 2012 – 7:43 am -| Sir Paul McCartney has confirmed that the title of his forthcoming album of standards will be “Kisses On The Bottom.”
“Kisses On The Bottom” features McCartney’s versions of songs that he grew up listening to as a child, as well as two new McCartney composititions “My Valentine” and “Only Our Hearts.” |

The album takes its name from the following lyric in the Fats Waller jazz hit “I’m Gonna Sit Right Down And Write Myself A Letter”:
| I’m gonna sit right down and write myself a letter and make believe it came from you/I’m gonna write words oh so sweet/They’re gonna knock me off of my feet/A lot of kisses on the bottom/I’ll be glad I got ’em. |
“I’m Gonna Sit Right Down And Write Myself A Letter” is one of 14 songs on “Kisses On The Bottom.” Here’s the complete tracklist:

There will also be a deluxe edition of “Kisses On The Bottom” which includes bonus digital download of selections from McCartney’s performance at Capitol Studios, Hollywood, CA.
