Revolutions – The Best of Steve Winwood
Written by admin on June 9, 2010 – 10:16 pm -Yesterday saw the release of a very fine career overview of Steve Winwood titled “Revolutions – The Best of Steve Winwood.”
The release is available as a four-disc deluxe box set, complete with a 52-page booklet, or as a single disc for the more casual fan. |
Both the single disc and four-disc versions contain a re-recording of “Spanish Dancer” mixed by Grammy Award-winning New York producer and recording artist Ben Wisch. The original appeared on Winwood’s 1980 solo album “Arc Of A Diver.”
Winwood personally selected the tracks on “Revolutions – The Very Best of Steve Winwood.” There are solo songs, as well as songs from his time with the Spencer Davis Group, Traffic and Blind Faith.
