David Gilmour working on new solo album
Written by admin on October 29, 2014 – 8:04 am -Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour has told Rolling Stone that he is working on a new solo album, which will be his first since “On an Island” (2006).
Gilmour said:
It’s coming along very well. There are some sketches that aren’t finished, and some of them will be started again. There’s a few months’ work in it yet. I’m hoping to get it out this following year. Then I’m hoping to do an old man’s tour, not a 200-date sort of thing.
Next month sees the release of the new Pink Floyd album, “The Endless River,” which Gilmour has said is almost certainly the band’s final release.
