The Kinks’ “Muswell Hillbillies – Deluxe Edition”
Written by admin on August 21, 2013 – 9:38 pm -A deluxe edition of the Kinks’ 1971 album “Muswell Hillbillies” will be released on October 7 in the UK and on import a week later in North America. According to the band’s Facebook page, the newly remastered album will feature “unreleased tunes, sessions and alt versions”. A deluxe edition of “Lola” is also reportedly in the pipeline.
“Muswell Hillbillies” was the ninth album released by the Kinks. It was named after the Muswell Hill area of North London where Ray and Dave Davies grew up and formed the band.
